This packing is manufactured from the finest quality carbon yam with inconel wire inserted for increased temperature and pressure resistance. The surface is coated with a special compound and molybdenum trioxide is an excellent high temperature lubricant, which helps prevent wicking and volume loss to the packing rings. It also is a passive agent that helps minimize the effects of electroytic valve stem pitting. This valve packing is manufactured in braided jacket over core construction. |
